Feed — Henie Onstad Art Channel
Henie Onstads reply to the ongoing crisis is to stream exclusive and previously unpublished high quality material from their archives. The experience is live on art.hok.no, free for everyone. In collaboration with Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and ANTI.
Exclusive recordings, commissioned work and previously unpublished concerts with artists like Ulver, Lindstrøm, When and Moon Relay are on the menu.
Digital tours of closed exhibitions such as Picasso 347 and New Visions, an improvised digital celebration of Arne Haukeland 100 years anniversary March 28, as well as works from Ultimafestivalen performed at the museum will also be made available.
It was all done in exactly two weeks from conception to launch, thanks to an incredible collaboration with our good friends at ANTI and of course the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. We hope this platform will provide some small nourishment in the form of art in an otherwise challenging existence for so many of us.
– We know the importance of art – especially in difficult times. Although our doors are physically locked at the moment, shutting down will never be an alternative. Thanks to a great collaborative work with Feed and ANTI we are proud to present hidden gems from the museum, says Gunhild Varvin from the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter.
PS! Social media and “big tech” is making tons available and that’s really cool. In the midst of this, Henie Onstad is contributing to an important public debate revolving censorship on such platforms. Our Norwegian audience can head here to read a piece on the subject.

Collaborators
This project is a full on collaborative effort. While we might have sparked the idea, the entire team elaborated and iterated to where it is now. Just the way it should be. ANTI steadily provided design, and Henie Onstad provided contextual direction and overall product ownership - and naturally the content, which always remains front and center in any Henie Onstad project.
